Easy Ways to Raise Money
Escrip
Register online using DW's ID number 6493874. Link your grocery store cards and credit/debit cards, and participating merchants will automatically donate a portion of purchases to our PTA. For example, if you register your Safeway Club card, every time you shop at Safeway, Safeway will donate a percentage of your bill to Daniel Webster.

Good Life Grocery Scrip
If you regularly shop at Good Life Grocery on 20th street, shop with scrip and Good Life will give a percentage of scrip sales to DW. You use scrip to buy groceries just like paper money and you’ll get real money back in change. You get the same great products and service as always AND you help DW. Good Life Scrip is available at PTA Meetings.
OneCause

Office Depot
Office Depot donates school supplies with their 5% Back to Schools Program. Our School ID# 70013998 Just mention this when making a purchase in store or note it online when you check out.
Land's End
Land’s End donates 3% of all sales of uniform clothing back to Daniel Webster. http://www.landsend.com/ix/school-uniforms/ index.html? seq=1 . Enter our school code number, 900136235, when you place items in your 'shopping cart.'
Cole Hardware
Cole Hardware donates 10% of all purchases made by members of your community within their stores to be donated directly back to our school. Be sure to mention Daniel Webster Elementary when you make a purchase at any Cole or Fox Hardware.

Jamba Juice
Jamba Juice has a School Appreciation Program. Each time you make a purchase at Jamba Juice they will donate 10% of the proceeds to our local PTA and 2% to our National PTA. We will have swipe cards available at every PTA meeting.
Volunteer Opportunities
Be a Room Parent
Take an active role in your child’s classroom and get to know other parents by becoming a Room Parent. Room Parents serve as a liaison between classroom teachers and parents by facilitating communication about events, field trips and classroom needs, coordinating volunteers, collecting and distributing class contact information and assisting with other needs as they arise.

Prepare Snacks for the Students
Through participation in the SF Food Bank's Morning Snack Program, Daniel Webster is able to provide healthy snacks for all students Monday through Friday. The healthy snacks provided include fresh oranges, bananas, apples, granola bars and more. It takes between 30 and 45 minutes for one person to prepare snack for the whole school. This includes washing/cutting fruit when necessary and distributing to the classrooms. Optimally, two parents volunteers per day.
