Public schools rely on the generosity and energy of their communities. There are many ways to contribute to Daniel Webster all of which are greatly appreciated. Your participation at Daniel Webster is the best contribution we can hope for.
Be a Room Parent
Take an active role in your child’s classroom and get to know other parents by becoming a Room Parent. Room Parents serve as a liaison between classroom teachers and parents by facilitating communication about events, field trips and classroom needs, coordinating volunteers, collecting and distributing class contact information and assisting with other needs as they arise.

Cut Snacks for the Students
Through participation in Snack Program provided by the Food Bank SF, Daniel Webster is able to provide healthy snacks for the students on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year. The fruits that volunteers cut are mostly oranges and some apples. It takes about 45 minutes for one person to slice up enough oranges to provide a nutritious snack for the whole school. Optimally, 2-4 parents volunteer and split the days.

Register online using DW's ID number 6493874. Link your grocery store cards and credit/debit cards, and participating merchants will automatically donate a portion of purchases to our PTA. For example, if you register your Safeway Club card, every time you shop at Safeway, Safeway will donate a percentage of your bill to Daniel Webster.

Jamba Juice
Jamba Juice has a School Appreciation Program. Each time you make a purchase at Jamba Juice they will donate 10% of the proceeds to our local PTA and 2% to our National PTA. We will have swipe cards available at every PTA meeting or email dwpta(at)me(dot)com.
